Expanding the line up of the very popular Lite Alloy Steel Locking Carabiner, SMC announces the TRIGUARD™ Carabiner. This new design is representative of the natural evolution into the smoothest, easiest, most comfortable, and secure autolocking carabiners on the market.

The TRIGUARD™ incorporates an entirely new style of internal mechanism within the sleeve and gate of the carabiner. To help insure smoother and more reliable action throughout the life of the carabiner, the gate and sleeve are constructed of non-corrosive stainless steel.

The TRIGUARD™ is a three-stage auto-lock that operates with easy one-handed motions directed towards your body…Pull, Twist and Open. No more fumbling awkward movements away from your body or odd hand/body combinations needed to open these auto-locking carabiners. The Trilock is third party certified by Underwriter’s Laboratories to meet NFPA 1983 (2006 ed.) “G” General Use.
