SMC products designed strictly for use in rescue, industrial, mountaineering or rock-climbing. All of these activities are inherently dangerous and therefore anyone using these items must obtain qualified instruction on the proper use and limitations prior to using them in any manner. Any person using these items assumes all responsibilities and risks for their own decisions and actions. FAILURE TO HEED THIS WARNING or FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

SMC LIMITED WARRANTY:
SMC products are warranted to the original retail purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of one year from the date of purchase. The sole remedy shall be replacement by SMC without charge upon inspection by SMC at the factory disclosing no misuse or alteration that, in the judgment of the manufacturer has affected the condition or operation of the product. Service under this warranty is available by contacting us by mail, email or phone. Used items that are claimed to be defective must be returned under a pre-assigned CC Number and should include a detailed description of the conditions existing during use of the item as well as the place and date of the original purchase. We will examine the item and then work through the dealer that originally sold the item. Dealers may submit a used item for inspection, but we do not issue credit or replacements to dealers for used equipment.

KAHTOOLA LIMITED WARRANTY:
Kahtoola, Inc. warrants this product to the original owner for three years from the date of purchase, against any defect in materials or workmanship. Any repairs not covered by this warranty will be made at a reasonable rate.

ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHETHER BY LAW OR OTHERWISE, MADE IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE OF SMC PRODUCTS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ALL WARRANTIES AS TO MERCHANTABILITY, USE, CONDITION, STRENGTH OF MATERIAL, LATENT DEFECT, FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND ANY SPECIFIC QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PRODUCTS ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED. SMC EXPRESSLY EXCLUDES AND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF ANY BREACH OF THE WRITTEN OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF SMC PRODUCTS. SMC PRODUCTS ARE INTENDED SOLELY FOR MOUNTAINEERING AND RESCUE WORK. THE PRODUCTS HAVE NOT BEEN DESIGNATED OR TESTED FOR OTHER PURPOSES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, USE WITH HANG GLIDERS OR ULTRA LITE AIRCRAFT, AND SMC EXPRESSLY EXCLUDES ALL WARRANTIES FOR PRODUCTS USED IN THESE CAPACITIES

RETURNS POLICY:
Goods ordered are not subject to return unless defective. If we sent you the wrong item, or if you have received an item that appears to be defective, contact our Sales Service Department within 15 days of the date of the shipment and request a Return Authorization Number. All returned goods must be in new condition and shipment must be prepaid. Please include a complete description of the reason for the return.
